The Tanzania President Samia Suluhu received an applause, from the gathering that had come to celebrate the labour day celebration, being his first official holiday after taking over leadership mantra.
President Suluhu, said after observation, it has come to her attention that a number of young people are still leaving with their parents past 18 years, and this has challenged her to look into the law.
Madam president promised, that she will have the legislator, look into the matter and change the law, making the parent responsible for the youth until they are 21 years of age, moving from the current 18 years.
Her sentiments were received with a lot of applause, from those who had gathered, a show of agreeing with what she was proposing.
Though there was no more joy for workers, who did not receive a pay rise, she promised to look into matters, and that they should take heart, as things are going to be well in the coming days.
