Kenyans have overwhelmingly joined in celebrating Kirinyaga county governor Anne Mumbi Waiguru after her latest prestigious nomination.
According to her, she has been nominated as one of the 100 most influential women of African descent sharing the nomination with sone of the most powerful African women leaders.
Among those in the same nomination is former president of Liberia Sir Leaf Johnson Ellen as well as the current Kitui county governor Madam Charity Ngilu.
Others in the list is the recently appointed Kenyan Head of the Judiciary Chief Justice Martha Koome who has not yet finished a year since she got the high profile job in the country.
The president of the Federal Republic of Ethiopia has also been nominated in the list of the most influential women leaders in the country.
