Professor John Lonyangapuo is the governor for West Pokot county and he was elected on a Kenya African National Union party ticket. The governor has been humorous in his statements which have been used in making memes hence making him to be popular among social media users across the country who are the youths.
The governor has appeared on a virtual interview on Citizen TV Kenya where he has addressed myriad of issues on matter of politics. Replying to a question to him by the presenter on why he ditched KANU for his newly formed United Kenya party, Lonyangapuo has said that he ditched the party because it does not resonate well with their interests.
Speaking on the presidential race, the governor has said that his party will not field a presidential candidate but he will scrutize the available presidential aspirants who have their interests at heart before he can back them for the top seat through an alliance. Here is the link;
