The politics in the country is on a high note as we edge Closer to the 2022 general elections. The building bridges initiative has also starred up the politics as the country is divided into those supporting the BBI and those rejecting the constitutional reforms.
The BBI campaign is led by president Uhuru Kenyatta and the Orange Democratic Party leader Raila Odinga and their allies. On the other hand the deputy president William Ruto is not for the constitutional changes as they has been outlined in the document. This has widened the split between the rulling Jubilee party.
Kenyans have shown great anxiety as Citizen television confirmed that they will be hosting the Jubilee Vice-chair David Murathe and the former leader of majority senator Kipchumba Murkomen during the 9:00 pm prime news. This has elicited mixed reactions as people anticipated a show down as the two leaders are currently on different political ideologies despite both been Jubilee members.
