According to the report, he has been offered a Chief Minister's post, a position he has accepted and will be working together with ODM party leader Hon Raila Odinga who is Azimio's flag bearer and his running mate Hon Martha Karua.
Kalonzo Musyoka had promised to seek presidential seat after learning that he had missed deputy president's post in Azimio but the team quickly announced that he will be offered Chief Cabinet Secretary post.
Some of the leaders who had advised Kalonzo Musyoka to go for presidential seat includes Makueni senator Hon Mutula Kilonzo Junior, Kitui senator Hon Enock Wambua and Makueni member of Parliament Hon Dan Maanzo.
Dan Maanzo was the first person in this group to show indication of Kalonzo's move to return back to Azimio. Mutula Kilonzo who is a close ally of Kalonzo is still silent on this matter.
