Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga has since unveiled his campaign dream team to the public. The campaign team contains names of different leaders who will lead campaigns in different regions of the country. Among the 16 leaders the Cabinet Secretary for Treasury, Ukur Yattani has been named to lead the Northern Eastern part of Kenya.
According to the Daily Nation, other cabinet secretaries named by Raila Odinga include Eugene Wamalwa for Defence and Peter Munya for Agriculture.
Also in the list, there are Members of Parliament, Junet Mohammed, Mishi Mboko, Opiyo Wandayi, Maina Kamanda, Kanini Kega, Richard Onyonka, Caleb Amisi and Babu Owino as well as former presidential candidate Peter Kenneth, Nyeri deputy governor Carol Karugu and Phillip Pande an unsuccessful Kisumu Senate aspirant.
Nevertheless, another team to spearhead Raila's campaign on Martha Karua's side will be released soon enough as the election date comes closer day by day.
