Blow To Raila As Azimio Member Party Disowns Planned Rallies.

The former prime minister Raila Odinga has vowed to defend the four embattled independent electoral and boundaries commission (IEBC) commissioners who are battling petitions for their removal from office following their conduct during the just concluded presidential election.

To achieve his ambitions, the azimio boss has announced plans to hold public engagement in various parts of Kenya starting from Nairobi on Wednesday.

After the Wednesday event, the meetings meant to collect views from Kenyans over the fate of the four commissioners will be held in other towns such as kisumu, kakamega, Mombasa and Nakuru.

So far, wiper party led by Kalonzo Musyoka has expressed it's support for anti-ruto Protests.

A meeting meant to build consensus is set to be held and will be chaired by the azimio la umoja one Kenya alliance party leader Raila himself.

Nevertheless, as Raila and his closest allies continue with their plans, the Kenya Africa national union (KANU) party has disowned the plan.

The move by the independent party is a blow to Raila and his azimio team who is keen on activating his political networks and keep his supporters engaged in the cause for justice.

Ever since the completion of EALA elections and appointment to Parliamentary committees Ended, KANU's top officials have not been active in Many azimio affairs.
