President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday morning held two high-profile meetings only a day after witnessing the launching of a hospital in the informal sector of Kibira. The two meetings were held at the statehouse with two top-ranking officials from Cuba and United Kingdom.
President Uhuru Kenyatta bid farewell to the outgoing ambassador to Cuba who has served his country while in Kenya for close to four years when he first arrived. The president thanked him and the Cuban government for the good working relationship that has existed between the two countries since the coming of the Cuban doctors in the country.
The other meeting held today was with former United Kingdom Prime Minister Tony Blair who has been in the country for a two days visit. He also reiterated the working relationship between the two countries saying that a lot has been achieved through the working relationship of the two nations.
