Senator James Orengo of Siaya County has criticized the Kenya Kwanza Alliance manifesto, claiming it is replete with unattainable promises. He addressed the Azimio campaign rally in Siaya County.
"Ruto, the UDA leader, arrived late and with a manifesto that is replete with vague generalizations. packed with unfulfillable promises, "Orengo declared.
The ODM leader Raila Odinga's manifesto is detailed, the governor candidate said.
"Raila explains where the money will come from when he promises to provide poor families Sh6,000 apiece. Ruto has not explained how he can turn Kenya into a middle-income nation," Orengo declared.
I gave him a performance grade of D (10 out of 100, very low).
He emphasized that although DP Ruto's manifesto did not even mention corruption, Raila and his running mate Martha Karua had elaborated on how they would combat it.
