Kenyans are waiting for the IEBC to announce between Deputy President William Ruto and Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga who would succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.

President Uhuru Kenyatta met in public with a group of election observers on Saturday at State House in Nairobi while the wait goes on.

In order to get a briefing on their observations of the election process since Tuesday, when the ballots were cast, President Uhuru met with the team.

The delegation, led by the former president of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma, said that all of the observers gave favorable assessments of the election's transparency. Now this time, as Kenyans wait for IEBC to announce the winner of the presidential seat, former president Uhuru Kenyatta, it's time to leave the state house as the new president will be sworn in. We have almost seen that in our country, every time there is a general election in a presidential seat, we have a big challenge of announcing the winner because it becomes hard for the IEBC to announce the winner and that makes people start complaining. Please, we know we are going to announce the winner and everything will be OK as the counting of votes is on-going. We wish to encourage our people to let us keep our country in peace and avoid posting fake news on social media . Like IEBC, this is our time and we are 100 % that we will announce the winner according to the votes that he has.
