Deputy President William Ruto motorcade was forced to speed up after irate residents haltered their campaigns as details emerge on what was damaged.
Ruto was in Bumala wooing voters and other political leaders to support his hustler movement. He continued his rally after he visited Kakamega on Friday, 22 October. He informed the residents that he would organize for the empowering of small business enterprises in Bumala town.
Ruto further insisted that it was time to form a government of hustler inorder to raise their living standard by ensuring that every youth gets opportunity. He added that he will prepare the technical institutions in the region to accommodate the youths.
It has not been established whether any person was injured in the process.
