On Thursday morning while appearing on the morning show,Khalwale revealed that Raila is completely a changed man and deserves a chance to explain his social welfare program and other agendas for Kenyas ahead of next year's polls.
Citing his examples,Khalwale insisted that Raila Odinga is a different man while he used to be in the ODM camp where they used to sell slogans to people without a clear plan of what they will do for Kenyans.
"We used to sell tibim!Tialala!Raila Ugwe! Completely nothing,"said Khalwale
The former Senator said Raila is now wise and has changed political approach and has a good model that should be well understood by Kenyans just like the bottom-up economic model.
"Raila is good,he has come up with his semblance model. He should be given an opportunity to explain himself,"Khalwale noted
The lawmaker added that Raila's ideas should not be bashed just like other Presidential candidates.
Raila Odinga's promises that he will offer youth more than four cabinet slots and monthly income of ksh 6000 has sparked mixed reactions.
His opponents have descended on Raila's manifesto some claiming it's means to lure youth vote for him ahead of next year Presidential elections.
