NARC Kenya's president Martha Karua has questioned Kenya Kwanza administration on the disappearance of the funds intended to protect Kenyans from rising living costs.
When Karua was invited to the stage, she was speaking at a church service. Her companion was Kalonzo Musyoka, the head of the Wiper Party.
Karua worried where the money had gone and criticized Ruto for not lowering the price of groceries.
"Umeondoa ya elimu na hata deni ya Kenya hujalipa, umeondoa ya elimu ya pesa ya chakula, and umeondoa ya mafuta. The first default has occurred in Kenya. Whoa, pesa ulipeleka wapi? "She struck a pose.
To translate this roughly: "You stopped giving out subsidies for food, oil, and education, but you still owe Kenya money. You stole our money, but where?"
Gachagua went ahead to blame the alleged wanton theft of public funds for the current dire state of the economy and high cost of living.
The Azimio leaders maintained their claims that their victory was stolen and promised a showdown on Wednesday mass protest.
