The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has been sent into celebration after four senior politicians from Mt. Kenya decamped jubilee to Ruto's UDA party. The four are the latest politicians to ditch jubilee party and becoming the recent supporters of DP Ruto.
The four include; Hon Robert Gichumi, Mp Gichugu constituency, Hon Njogu Burma former Mp Gichigu , Hon Daniel Karaba forma Kirinyaga senator and Norman Nyaga former Kamukunji Mp. They were received by UDA party leader Dr. William Ruto while on his campaigns in Kirinyaga.
It is just 11 months to the 2022 general elections and leaders are defecting to parties where they think will allow them to have the upper hand in competing with their opponents in the positions they are aspiring for.
Dp Ruto receiving the four senior politicians in his party is a great achievement because Raila is his strongest competitor from Mt. Kenya region and this will ensure the stability of his votes in the central Kenya.
