On Monday the Former Statehouse Controller Dennis Itumbi who is a close ally to the deputy president William Ruto announced that the Mt. Kenya negotiations will be kicking off on Tuesday the 20th of April 2021. According to Utumbi, the meeting's agenda will be based on improving the economy.
The deputy president William Ruto will be seeking to strike a deal with the Mt. Kenya people ahead of the 2022 general elections. The big question is that with the division that had been witnessed in the region where two camps have taken shape on supporting president Uhuru Kenyatta and the other standing with the deputy president William Ruto, who will struck the best deal for the mt. Kenya?
There is much Speculations that the Gatundu member of parliament hon Moses Kuria will be leading in the negotiations table as representative of Mt. Kenya people. Though this has not been confirmed, the local radio station Inooro fm has set a debate hosting Moses Kuria and Limuru Member of parliament hon. Peter Mwathi.
Kenyans have expressed anxiety, eagerly waiting for this debate which will shed more light of the alleged Negotiation Meetings which will be held on Tuesday morning. Here are some of the reactions from kenyans. What's your take on this matter, kindly share and follow for more updates.
