Governor Ali Hassan Joho is the current governor of Mombasa county and has shown interest in the next year's general elections presidential seat.
Birth and education
Ali Hassan Joho was born on 26th of February, 1976 in Kisauni, Mombasa county to Mzee Ali Joho and Ummu Kulthum. He is currently aged 45 years but is looking energetic and young.
He joined Tom Mboya primary school for his primary education after which he later attended Serani Boys High School and completed his form four 1993. He did his bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management at Kampala University, Uganda. He also has a bachelor's degree in Commerce from Gretsa University that he attained in 2016.
Governor Joho vied for Kisauni parliamentary seat in 2007 using ODM party ticket which secured him a win. In 2013 general elections he vied for Mombasa county governorship and won. He retained his seat in 2017 winning against his opponents using ODM party ticket.
Social and Marriage life
Governor Joho is a politician, an entrepreneur and a dedicated family man. He is married to Madina Joho and together they have four children. Joho loves a lavish and flamboyant lifestyle, he owns some of the high end cars in the country like Ferrari, a Bentley and Rolls-Royce phantom. Governor Joho owns a 400 million Mansion near Nyali beach in Mombasa. It's one of the most expensive houses in the region and has a stylish design.
