Atwoli's Ex-wife Roselinda Simiyu who parted ways long time ago with Central Organisation of Trade Unions ( COTU) secretary general. Roselinda Simiyu was welcomed in a podium in deputy president William Ruto rally where she introduced herself as the wife of the sectretary general of Central Organisation of Trade Unions Francis Atwoli. This is after Roselinda defected to United Democratic Alliance.
Roselinda Simiyu allegations of being Atwoli's wife circulated in the social media until it came into limelight of Francis Atwoli of which he responded that he handed over her former wife to deputy president William Ruto and she is nolonger his wife and that he is well married with news anchor.
Francis Atwoli made his former wife in 1996 when she was a chairperson at Kenya Union of Sugar plantation. Atwoli being the great supporter of Azimio La Umoja and very close ally to ODM party leader Raila Amolo Odinga.
