'It Will Be Tragic' Miguna Says After Info Emerged Of What President Ruto and Matiangi Might Do Soon

Miguna Miguna has strongly opposed any plans for a Handshake between President William Ruto and former Interior CS Fred Matiang'i.

In response to a media article that hinted at the potential of Ruto and Matiang'i reconciling, Miguna tweeted that he thought it would be tragic and a horrible mistake if it happened.

Those who voted for Ruto and deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, according to Miguna, do not like Matiang'i.

Miguna's response came when news surfaced that DPP Noordin Haji had negotiated Matiang's release from prison through a series of meetings with Kisii elders, the president, and others with his backers.

Matiang'i and Education CS Ezekiel Machogu met on Sunday in a Karen hotel whose name has been withheld.

Yet, specifics of the discussion were kept under wraps. The two leaders are from the Kisii region, which President William Ruto plans to visit. According to Machogu, the summit was just like any other leaders' summit.
