The long awaited elections are finally here and Kenyans have already started the voting exercise. Although some areas have experienced delays, no major problems have been reported so far. Politicians woke up early than anyone else to lead the way to the polling stations and motivate their supporters to vote for them.
Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto and his running mate Rigathi Gachagua have already cast their votes at their rural polling stations. Ruto woke up early and went straight to Kodachei Primary School in Uasin Gishu where he cast his vote. Before he cast his vote Ruto had some light moments with voters who had woken up early before going in to vote. He was accompanied by his dear wife Rachel Ruto.
His running mate Rigathi Gachagua on the other hand was in Mathira where he also woke up for the same exercise. Gachagua was among the first people to vote at the centre. This was to motivate their supporters so that they can come out and vote for Ruto. Let's all maintain peace during this election period. Watch the video of Ruto voting in the link shared below.
