The county chief was speaking today when he met chief officers and heads of departments from the county for a consultative meeting at his office in Bungoma town.
Mr. Lusaka made it clear that he will not witch hunt chief officers and head of departments just because of the political affiliation they held in the last elections.
" I was particular that I will not witch hunt any officer just because of the political affiliation they held in the last elections" posted Kenneth Lusaka on his official Facebook page.
Lusaka also called on all Bungoma county accounting officers to ensure every transactions are above board and within the law. He also warned the county chiefs against misappropriating county funds.
" I have today called on all accounting officers to ensure all their transactions are above board and within the law. While meeting chief officers and head of Directorates in my office, warned them that they will carry their own cross if found culpable of any offense" added governor Kenneth Lusaka.
The former immediate senate speaker made comeback in 2022 polls after trouncing down the then Bungoma governor Wycliffe Wangamati who was seeking reelection on a DAP-K party ticket.
