ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has maintained that he will be on the presidential ballot in 2022 dismissing claims that the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta is only between William Ruto and Raila Odinga.
Mudavadi who is among four leaders forming the One Kenya Alliance further assured their supporters that the alliance is united, and they will be revealing their plan ahead of the general election, insisting that they know they are supposed to consider IEBC time frames.
The former Finance Minister alongside Senator Moses Wetangula have been facing pressure from a section of leaders from Western Region to shelve their political ambitions and support Raila.
Another group from the region has been pushing the former Vice President to make a stab at the presidency come next year.
According to Professor Herman Manyora, the push shown by Senator Cleophas Malala and ANC Deputy party leader Ayub Savula is misleading Mudavadi, on claims that he will make it yet they are sure it is almost next to impossible.
"If Mudavadi does not unite with Raila or listen to Francis Atwoli, he will be rendered irrelevant and he knows it. He is been lied to by Malala and Savula who wants to be governors.
