Town elected MP Garissa Aden Duale wrote an open letter to the leaders of Azimio One Kenya. Duale wrote the letter through his various official social media accounts.
He raised the issue citing the Azimio La Umoja meeting taking place today at the KICC, where elected leaders meet and are addressed by Azimio leaders such as Martha Karua and Kalonzo Musyoka.
Duale revealed that he took issue with some of the comments executives made there. He countered that the event was only intended to inflate their supporters and create false hopes of victory without facts, but the presidential results were not announced.
Duale also criticized Azimio la Umoja's partner, lead attorney Martha Karua, for the statements she made.
“Indeed, it is regrettable that the lead advisor and moderator for the Azimio coalition, Martha Karua, this morning, at the 'know each other' meeting, publicly announced that the Azimio coalition has 180 MPs" He said in the letter.
