Opposition leader Raila Odinga claims that he is really shocked to see some leaders especially from the Nyanza region still going to statehouse to be lured and paid to divide the region that has been United ever since independent saying that those leaders are fighting for their own selfish interest and not that of the community.
"I am really shocked to see some leaders who were respected in this community going to statehouse to be paid money to divide this community something that will not happen under my watch. They are only pushing for their own interest," he said.
Speaking in Siaya county where he is leading the anti government rallies, Raila said that it is time for the region to be more United promising them that he will take them to Cannan. He added that the journey is still alive and cannot be changed.
He also called on the locals to shun away from the leaders who have visited statehouse and not to give them any chances in the community. His statement comes after leaders like Obado, Kidero joined UDA party.
