Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen is a die hard supporter of Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto and a harsh critic of President Uhuru Kenyatta. Senator Kipchumba Murkomen is among the politicians who decamped the ruling Jubilee Coalition party of Kenya and joined the United Democratic Alliance, a party that is affiliated to Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto. The Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen publicly blasted incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta for allowing political rallies across the country. Senator Kipchumba Murkomen also demanded that incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta lift the curfew.
According to Kenyans.co.ke, speaking during the 10th anniversary of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) day on Saturday, October 16, the Head of State joked that he might not lift the curfew after noticing an increase in newborns.
He noted that he was pleased by the development and that he wanted the country to grow in that trajectory.
