The governor of Kirinyaga county declared that she is ready to defend her seat as the governor of Kirinyaga in 2022 polls and she will be using the UDA party. She revealed that she agreed to join DP Ruto's camp after listening to the people of the ground and they promised her that they will vote for her simply because the party is popular in the region.
While addressing Kenyans in Kameme TV, she admitted that DP Ruto's party is going momentum in the region and also defended the allegations that DP Ruto is a thief. She revealed that the allegations are not true simply because no one has clear evidence and those who took part in KEMSA scandals should be arrested quickly because there is enough evidence that they embezzled the money.
"Mûingî nî ûramenya Ruto nî kûigîrîrwo araigîrîrwo atî nî Mungumania," Waiguru said.
In English, "People know that claims about DP Ruto are not True," Waiguru said.
