Deputy President William Ruto was accompanied with his United Democratic Alliance party delegates to Migori County where they met the residents who received them with open arms, some days after stoning ODM hopeful Jimmy Wanjigi.
Surprisingly, Governor Okoth Obado Obado was among the delegates who welcomed the Deputy President which came as a big surprise to many as he is known to be a supporter of Orange Democratic Movement party and Raila Odinga.
Making matter worse, Okoth Obado was advocating for the bottom up model that Deputy President William Ruto has always been rallying. Speaking from the brief meeting they held before meeting with the residents, Gov Okoth Obado was heard praising the bottom up model as he stated that it comes with great benefits than what many expect.
This comes as a major worry to the ODM party who might be at risk of losing one of their vocal leaders to Deputy President William Ruto which will boost his chances of getting more support from Migori County.
