From Friday next week members of Parliament will access the sh44.8 billion National government constituency development fund NG-CDF kitty after the Treasury bowed to pressure and agreed to release the monies. In September last year, lawmakers were dealt a blow after former Treasury cabinet secretary, Ukur Yatani, refused to release CDF monies, citing a court order.
Sine then the Members of Parliament have been threatening to even go on boycott the National Assembly sitting just to make sure that Treasury release the CDF Billions.

Do you think that the Attorney General of the republic of Kenya Justin Muturi made the right decision by defying a court order that says the CDF Funds is illegal and unconstitutional? The decision by the new Cabinet Secretary for Treasury to release CDF Billions to members of Parliament might push the Kenya Judiciary to respond.

It's now a matter of wait and see what happens in the coming days if the Judiciary will respond or not.
