Kenyans and contenders for the presidency in the 2022 August General Election are still waiting for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to announce the presidential results in accordance with the deadline. The courts appointed the IEBC Chairman.
According to the recent provisional presidential results from Kiambu County Kikuyu Constituency we have 98758 registered voters and valid cast was 64,889 and rejected vote was 447. In the other hand deputy president Hon William Samoei Ruto of United Democratic Alliances (UDA) was leading with 47,145 votes followed by Azimio La Umoja One Kenya leader Hon Raila Odinga with 16,877 votes.Prof George Wajackoyah of Roots party manage to get 438 votes and Hon David Mwaure of Agano Party manage to get 429 votes.
Any attempt to complete this quickly is admirable as per the Wafula Chebukati regulation IEBC is required to declare the president elected probably the beginning of this week.
Kenyans are encouraged to remain calm when IEBC are going on with process of counting votes.
