Last week, president Uhuru Kenyatta and former prime minister Raila Odinga made an impromptu visit to Nairobi to inspect some government projects.
Among the projects that two inspected includes Matatu terminus that was constructed by Nairobi Metropolitan Service, NMS.
A diehard supporter of Raila, Robert Alai now claims that "Baba" was blinded during the visit. This is after houses of poor kenyans living in Njiru get demolished. According to Alai, anyone who attempted to take photos or videos got arrested by GSU. "While the homes of poor kenyans living in Njiru were being demolished, Baba was blinded in town while being taken around" Alai Said."We need to get answers to these things and Kasarani MP who coordinated the ethnic dehumanization should answer these crimes" He added.
Over 5000 families were left homeless as a result of this demolition. Below are some of the photos on how houses were demolished.Uhuru and Kenyatta is alleged that this week they will also visit Nyanza region, Kisumu county to inspect projects which includes Jomo Kenyatta International stadium among others.
