As days goes by, politics in Kenya are becoming tense as politicians double their efforts to popularize their parties as they tap more votes from people across every corner of the country. Some parties and especially the unpopular ones are seen merging with other big parties that are popular and that have taken the country by storm i.e. ODM and UDA.
In surprise, the ODM party has been added a boost after the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Agriculture Honorable Peter Munya announced the plans of his party merging with ODM. The Munya's party is called the Party of National Unity (PNU).
While on certain event, he said, "We are not folding but we are going to work together with ODM. Just like Jubilee, we are also in the government that will be formed in the next dispensation. We shall field candidates all over Mt. Kenya like any other party but on the Presidency, we shall support Raila. We are standing with ODM party and have formalized a working union. As PNU, we will clitch the majority seats in the Mt. Kenya region's."
PNU which emanates from the Mt. Kenya regions will be a big booster to ODM party that has been hopeful of tapping the highest number of votes in Mt. Kenya regions.
