The recent remarks by UDA leader William Ruto have not landed well in the ears of a section of Ukambani leaders. The leaders led by Kitui governor Charity Ngilu who is also a top ally of Azimio side has called-off Ruto following his recent contentious remarks.
Ngilu, through a video seen by this writer, has asked the Deputy President to respect leaders and stop the politics of insults. She has further added that they will not allow the second in command to come to the Ukambani region and hurl insults at the local leaders.
On comparing Kalonzo and Ruto, Ngilu has stated that Kalonzo is far more better since he is a well-known leader who has been tested and is a reliable person. This comes after Ruto stated that Kalonzo has supported Raila to the point his head hair has started getting lost. What are your thoughts about this?
