15 MPs Disagree with Raila's Plan to Overthrow the Govt

15 Members of parliament has told off Azimio leader Raila Odinga's plan to overthrow the government through mass action in the capital city.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, the MPs termed the street protests misplaced and an attempt to overthrow a legitimately elected government. Led by Tharaka MP George Murugara, the lawmakers said President Ruto's victory was affirmed by Supreme Court and that Raila has no ground to challenge him.

ODM leader on Tuesday rallied his home county, Siaya. He was warmly received by a mammoth crowd and vowed to support his anti-Ruto rallies.

He asked his allies and supporters not to fear and that their protest was provided in the 2010 constitution.

Despite visiting the Nyanza backyard, Mr Odinga has continued to suffer quite another blow as his anti-government rallies across the nation. The latest blow comes after over 30 luo Nyanza politicians met the head of state at Statehouse today.
