Another clarity has been reported by the CS for interior, Dr. Fred Matiang'i. According to the Star news, Matiang'i has announced that the curfew in the locked counties will continue until May 29 in next month.
That particular announcement that has indicated that the curfew will end on May next month can be interpreted as a message of hope to Kenyans who were in dilemma about when the curfew would be terminated.
It is however advisable that we remain focused and continue following the Covid-19 protocols so as to continue fighting this Covid-19 pandemic as advised by The CS of Health, Mutahi Kagwe.
The Lockdown and the curfew that was imposed in the 5 counties by president Uhuru Kenyatta has significantly reduced the positivity rate of Covid-19 in Kenya.
That shows that when we become serious and follow the Covid-19 prevention measures such as taking the Astrazeneca vaccine, social distancing among many others, we will defeat this pandemic in solidarity.
