Ruto or Raila? A New Opinion Poll Reveals Who Would Be The President If Elections Were Held Today

The incumbent Kenya's Deputy president Dr William Samoei Ruto is expected to engage in a cut throat battle with the Former Prime Minister Rt Hon Raila Amollo Odinga and a cross section of other presidential candidates in the August 9th polls in a solemn quest to unravel who will be the Kenya's fifty Head of State.

A myriad of opinion polls have been conducted by leading local research institutes and organizations in a solemn move geared towards giving kenyans a glimpse of each presidential candidate's popularity and his possibility of Clinching the mantle of power in the August 9th Gene elections.

A new opinion poll conducted in the month of May by one of the leading local news papers, The Star, depicts that the Deputy president would be the next Kenya's president if elections were held today.

The opinion indicates that Ruto would get 43.3% of the total votes counted whereas Raila would acquire 42.4%. Wiper Party leader Hon Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka would get 4% if the elections were held today.
