Everyone is looking forward to know the fate of Meru County Governor Kawira Mwangaza following her impeachment.
The Senate have scheduled to have a special sitting on 20th December 2022, to hear the charges of Governor Kawira Mwangaza which was filed by the County Assembly of Meru.
Kakamega County Senator Dr Boni Khalwale has reacted to Kawira Mwangaza's impeachment where he said that the Senate reconvenes on 20th December 2022, to consider the Meru County MCA's petition to uphold the impeachment of Meru Governor H.E Bishop Kawira Mwangaza.
Senator Boni Khalwale assured the public, all parties and other stakeholders that they purpose to give the matter the seriousness it deserves.
"The Senate reconvenes on 20/12/2022 to consider the Meru County MCA's petition to uphold the impeachment of their Governor Kawira Mwangaza. We assure the public, all parties and other stakeholders that we purpose to give the matter the seriousness it deserves", stated Senator Boni Khalwale.
