Deputy president was on Wednesday in Kisii where he continued with his campaigns to get more supporters who will vote him as the next president of Kenya come 2022 general elections. Those who had accompanied Ruto included, South Mugirango member of parliament, Hon. Silvanus Osoro, Aisha Jumwa, Millicent Omanga among others.
During his rally Ruto spoke about Interior CS Dr. Alfred Matiang'i who comes from Kisii saying that the CS should not use his powers to undermine him since he is the one who employed him. Matiang'i and Ruto have been having political differences since the handshake between ODM party leader and president Uhuru Kenyatta in March 2020.
''Mimi ndiye nimekuandika kazi, wacha hiyo mchezo yako bwana, (You should know that i am your employer, so respect your boss)'' said Ruto. The deputy president went a head and added that Matiang'i was being used by his counterpart to heckle his rallies across the country.
