The Eldoret Court has freed the 15 suspects over ODM boss Raila’s helicopter attack in Uasin Gishu for lack of evidence.

However despite the court ordering for the release of the 15 suspects, two have remained in custody as the case continues.

Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) had summoned a number of leaders in relation to the incident a few days ago.

Some of the leaders who were summoned by DCI over the incident included Soy Constituency MP Caleb Kositany, Kapseret Constituency MP Oscar Sudi, Suna East Constituency MP Junet Mohammed and Embakasi East Constituency MP Babu Owino.

Odinga's chopper was stoned by rowdy youths in Soy, Uasin Gishu county where he had attended the burial of Mzee Jackson Kibor.
