As many kenyans focusing on Baringo senator Gedion Moi declarations of his presidential ambitions the legislator is facing another setback.
In the latest developments elders from Sacho Baringo County have cautioned the senator ahead of his declaration claiming that its ill timed.
The elders claimed that Rift-valley region have pledged to support DP William Ruto and its akward for the two leaders from the same region to contest for the top seat.
"We as elders we know DP William Ruto is going for top seat and everyone in Rift-valley knows that we would like Gedion Moi to shelf down his ambitions"said Micah Komen.
The elders further noted that the nandi and rest of the kalenjin subtribe supported Late President Moi as their son and it will be disrespectful if they don't support their own .
"We as tugen Nandi and the rest kalenjin played a key role in supporting the late President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi it will be disrespectful for us tugen if we neglect Nandi who is their turn now"said James Kipkechem.
However according controversial Bartabwa MCA Reuben Chepsongol claimed that Gedion Moi declaration is inconsequential as residents supports DP Ruto
