What Some Candidates Seeking To Succeed Wetangula are Saying as Reports Emerge Ahead of Mini Polls

The race for Bungoma Senatorial seat is closing on to a nutshell as the actual day for the by-elections is now inches away. The mini polls are expected to commence tomorrow, Thursday 8 according to the report issued by the Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC) earlier.

Reports indicate that there are eleven candidates eying the senatorial seat which was left vacant by Rt Hon Moses Wetangula who was elected as Speaker of the National Assembly. On that note, candidates flagged by Ford Kenya and the ruling UDA party have been assumed to be the biggest contestants in the race based on their political supremacy in the county.

However, in politics, no candidate should be outscored because the main decision is expected to be made by Bungoma residents as from tomorrow 6am. New reports have now emerged that a section of the candidates seeking the seat are complaining that the accreditation of agents across the county was not done properly.

At the same time, it has been reported that the Electoral Commission has also dispatched the election materials to all polling centres ahead of tomorrow's exercise.
