With Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Odinga seemingly to retire from elective politics, Wiper Democratic Movement Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is seen as his successor being that he stood with him during Raila's presidential ambitions.
With Raila loosing some of his political bigwigs such as Wycliffe Oparanya who recently revealed that he was now venturing into a new political career, it would be very difficult for Raila in 2027 against Ruto.
Methinks that for Kalonzo Musyoka to get a good number of votes in the next General elections then he has to also have a good choice of a running mate.
With Kalonzo Musyoka controlling a lot of support from Lower Easter region, he needs a running mate from Mt Kenya region since Western Part of Kenya may still boost his bid because he has been an close supporter of Raila Odinga.
Martha Karua who was Raila's running mate in the previous election is the best choice for Kalonzo Musyoka against President William Ruto in 2027.
