Dp Ruto is touring the country campaigning for the 2022 presidential seat. Ruto who has had an observable drift with the president went ahead and formed his UDA party which has since gained momentum and has attracted quite a number of followers country wide.
Today, Dr. Ruto toured the Ukambani region promoting his manifesto and popularising voters in the region about his bottom up economics.
His main strategy of improving economy once he gains the presidential seat is by funding the local investors and small scale earners to improve on their income. Such include the mama mboga, the Bodaboda operators among other small earning businesses.
Ruto argues that if those small businesses improve their income, the bigger businesses will also improve and at the end the whole country will increase it's economy.
It is while at Mtito Andei where Ruto promised to give twilight girls sh. 1 Million. Ruto urged the girls to organise themselves into a SACCO. He then would Channel the money to them so that they can venture into a more legit business.
