Oburu Odinga Reveals Key Sector of the Deep State That Ruto Controlled Without Uhuru Noticing

Siaya county Senator Hon Oburu Odinga has come out and explained how Azimio la Umoja coalition failed to contain William Ruto before the August 9th general election, something that led Raila Odinga to lose hands down to Kenya Kwanza.

While speaking on Thursday, the vocal lawmaker said that the deep state forgot that President Ruto was attending all security meetings therefore he knew all the loopholes that existed in that sector.

He further added that retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and his men controlled the majority of the deep state but William Ruto gripped the big chunk of the security sector. Oburu said that this is one of the areas in that Ruto outsmarted them.

Oburu Odinga also said that the deep state failed to contain former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairman Wafula Chebukati. He said that the deep state majorly relied on kn the four IEBC commissioners forgetting the role that Chebukati will play.

He further said that he personally felt that Chebukati will fall out with the four IEBC commissioners but he did not give out much attention as the Azimio coalition. He also said that Uhuru did not betray Raila as he did his best to deliver victory to him.
