Happening now as Statehouse Spokesman Hussein Mohamed lands in the lakeside city of Kisumu, set to hold a media briefing ahead of President William Ruto's visit to the region.
The press briefing which is set to be held by the Statehouse Spokesman Hussein Mohamed will be taking place at the Kisumu State Lodge.
This wil be his first media briefing at the Kisumu State Lodge since he was nominated to the position by President William Ruto.
Ruto is expected to start his tour of the Nyanza region on Friday where he will be in Homabay County and on 14th Saturday, the head of state will pass through Kisumu while going to the Homecoming ceremony of ICT CS Eliud Owalo in Asembo, Rarieda Sub County in Siaya County.
This will be the first time President William Ruto will be visiting the home county of chief opposition leader Raila Odinga since his election as the President.
