Murang'a Women Representative Sabina Chege, has left many Kenyans talking after she revealed that she has dropped her Women Rep Bid in order to concentrate on National politics.
Through a Twitter handle on Saturday evening, Chege, who was set to defend her seat in August, stated that she will not seek any elective seat in Murang'a County during the August polls adding that she will concentrate fully on Nation politics by ensuring that Azimio forms the next government.
"Finally the Holy Spirit has spoken, I will not be vying in any elective position in Murang'a County. I will concentrate with National politics in Azimio la Umoja Council. Asanteni wa Murang'a nawapenda sana #NgaiMbere," Chege wrote on her Twitter page.
Sabina's sentiments comes even at a time when all Presidential Candidates are expected by IEBC to submit the names of their running mates. Sabina Chege is one of the candidates seeking to be Raila Odinga's running mate.
