There has been an ongoing perceived silent war between deputy president Rigathi Gachagua and Nairobi county governor Hon Johnson Sakaja over the management of affairs in the capital city.
Specifically, the two leaders have appeared to be at loggerheads over a decision by the Nairobi county governor to change the way the long distance Matatu operators go about their businesses in the capital city that has been victim of congestion for a long time.
And now, former Nandi hills constituency member of the national assembly Hon Alfred Keter has weighed in on the raging debate.
According to Keter, Gachagua is overestimating himself on the matter, something he wants him to stop and leave Sakaja to do his job.
"Stop overestimating yourself," Keter says, an apparent dig on Gachagua who has stood his ground and insisted that Sakaja should double down on the plan.

It is to be remembered that Gachagua is the man who welcome Keter to the UDA party before the party primaries at a time where other UDA honchos had marked him as unwelcome to Ruto's fold.
