Kivutha Kibwana Addresses his Run for Senatorial Seat, Says he Doesn't Mind Advising in Azimio

Makueni county governor kivutha Kibwana has finally addressed rumours that he would be vying for senatorial seat in Makueni county come August 9 general elections.

While speaking during an interview on citizen tv Monday report with Trevor Ombija,the governor says that his run for senaor started as a tweet from a person he doesn't know.

Claiming that he is not dying to pursue politics,the governor adds that he doesn't mind throwing his full support behind the former prime minister Raila Odinga for presidency and advising in his Azimio La Umoja.

He further notes that he foregone his presidential bid and is now putting all the energy to ensure Raila becomes the fifth president of Kenya.

"My running for senator started as a tweet from someone unknown to me. I am not dying to pursue politics but I don’t mind advising in Azimio. I am putting energy to ensure that Raila becomes the 5th president of the country"
