Does he Plan to Ban Political Parties If Elected President? Ruto's Stand on Parties Rattles Him Out

Today, the meeting between Dp Ruto and more than 40 Mount Kenya region lawmakers came to an end. The agenda of the meeting was reported to be drafting the economic analysis of the second in command, as the 2022 elections near.

Today, Dp Ruto took to his Twitter account and shared the recommendations and resolutions of his meeting with Mount Kenya MPs.

Among the note shared was that the political parties are just ethnic ghettos which are being run by tribal kingpins.

He added that it is this tribalism that Kenyans are being overshadowed, with other top leaders sharing top positions forgetting them. Currently, Ruto is the head of the UDA party and is the Rift Valley and Kalenjin kingpin.

Among other recognized Kingpins include Kalonzo Musyoka in Kamba, Moses Wetangula among Bukusu, Musalia among Luhya, Uhuru among Kikuyu and others.

His remarks, however, speaks a lot of volumes, that does it mean that he will ban political parties if he becomes president?
