Good News As Nancy Kibaba Appointed To Be CAS For Gender And Affirmative Action

President William Ruto has shortlisted Nancy Nanyama Kibaba to fill in vacant of Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) position.

Nancy Kibaba who hails from Sirisia Constitiency in Bungoma County now will oversee the Gender and affirmative action.

She has been previously working as the CECM for Gender,culture ,youth and sports docket under Governor Kenneth Lusaka's regime in Bungoma County government.

She was previously vied for Bungoma women representative seat (UDA) and defeated against Catherine Wambialianga (Ford-Kenya) who garnered 140,059 votes.

Nancy Kibaba came second with 111,524 votes.

The CAS nominees for appointment have been transmitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval by Parliament in accordance with the public appointment (Parliamentary Approval) Act (No.33 of 2011).

The position had attracted 5,183 applications.

Among new appointees were: Evans Kidero (Trade), Dennis Itumbi (ICT), Millicent Omanga, Cate Waruguru (Foreign and affairs) , Wilson Sossion (Tourism), Margaret Wanjiru, Charles Jaguar (Arts) , Chris Wamalwa (Sanitation) , Kamani Ngunjiri.
