The vocal Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) party lawmaker has donated Ksh 100,000 to be used in purchasing a new PSV vehicle in a
"Today afternoon I attended a fundraiser for Mayomo Movement at Matisi Centre in Matisi Ward, Saboti Constituency.I gave my contribution of KES 100,000 to help them purchase a new PSV vehicle," he wrote on his Facebook wall.
The first-term MP who is seeking to defend his seat was once accused of sleeping on his job by residents.
In a chaotic incident, the Saboti MP was forced to run for his dear life after a group of rowdy youths attacked him during BBI signature drive on 1st December 2021.
He could not believe that the people he had been helping had ganged against him.
In his statement, he pointed out a man identified as Ifrah for being behind the brouhaha that almost cost his life.
"I am a Member of Parliament and I am being chased away from my own constituency...what is this?...That Caleb has been injured by his own people... meaning my own constituents do not want me.. There is one youthful man named Ifrah whom I have been helping in my office but he comes here to incite you...I have reported the matter to the police," he lamented.
