Kimemia, Kinyanjui, Muriithi, Nyoro, Orengo And Njenga Messages To The Nation During Raila's Meeting

The retired prime minister Raila Odinga has today held high profile meeting with a section of Mt Kenya region governors in a bid to reconcile and consolidate his position alongside fine tuning his agenda. Among the powerful Mt Kenya region governors present were Nakuru governor Lee Kinyanjui, James Nyoro of Kiambu, Ndiritu Muriithi of Laikipia and Francis Kimemia. Other top leaders present were Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya, media mogul SK Macharia, Siaya senator James Orengo, EALA member of Parliament Oburu Odinga and business man Njenga Mungai.

The leaders have sent powerful messages to Kenyans with most referring to the handshake between president Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga. Business man Njenga Mungai said that the handshake saved Kenya a big lot. "It's time to tell Kenyans that all those negative things we said about Raila Odinga were just politics," governor Kimemia has said.

According to governor Ndiritu Muriithi, some political bandits are using Raila Odinga's name to disrupt peace. Governor James Nyoro on his side has said that not electing Raila will be tantamount to exporting wealth while importing poverty. "There is no nation that has prospered with corruption," Lee Kinyanjui of Nakuru has said.
